Show up with Teacher’s Certificate in hand and you will get a free pass into Wanuskewin Heritage Park Saturday.

CEO Darlene Brander says they are hosting their first ever Teacher Appreciation Day because they know how difficult this past year has been for educators across the province.

Brander also says, “Teachers have made the safety of our children their first priority all the while continuing to educate and foster their growth.”

Wanuskewin finished a major expansion to the park in 2020 which includes new exhibits and displays, art galleries, restaurant, gift shop as well as a herd of Plains Bison, two of which recently gave birth
