Maidstone RCMP continue to investigate an accident on Highway #17 after two vehicles, one southbound and another northbound, collided shortly before 6:30 Saturday morning. The collision took place north of Lloydminster. The drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There were no passengers in either vehicle. The highway was closed for almost 9 hours while the investigation on scene was underway.
