Fully vaccinated Canadians who are permanent residents will see current restrictions eased as of July 5th, meaning no mandatory quarantine.
In addition, public safety minister Bill Blair says they will not have to complete an 8 day test.
Fully vaccinated travelers must submit their information using the arrive-can app before arriving at the border. There are no changes to current border measures for those who are not fully vaccinated. Travel restrictions for foreign nationals, remain in place until at least July 21.
Blair did say border restrictions will be reduced in a phased-in approach, with details in the next few months.
