Ruth Street will have various closures between Eastlake and Lorne avenues starting at 8:00 a.m. Thursday for cathodic protection work. Detours will be in place. The project is expected to take three days to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Project restrictions involve:

Ruth Street closed between Eastlake and Victoria avenues;
Ruth Street closed between Underwood and Victoria avenues;
Ruth Street eastbound and westbound parking lanes closed between Lorne and McPherson avenues;
McPherson Avenue southbound parking lane closed between Ash and Ruth streets;
Vernon Avenue northbound parking lane closed between Bute and Ruth streets; and
Ruth Street eastbound parking lane closed between Eastlake and Royal avenues.

Saskatoon Transit may be affected.
