Battleford RCMP are searching for a missing 12 year-old girl.

Police say on Friday at approximately 7:25 p.m., Battleford RCMP received a complaint that 12 year-old Summer Bear was missing.

Summer was last seen around 6:30 p.m. along Highway #16 west just outside of Battleford when she exited a parked vehicle. Police believe Summer may be headed to North Battleford, Saulteaux First Nation or Saskatoon, but this can’t be confirmed.

Summer is described as 5’8” and approximately 150 lbs. She has brown eyes and red hair. She was last seen wearing black camo sweatpants, a grey Metallica hoodie and black shoes.  The RCMP is working on obtaining a photo of her.
