Saskatoon police say one man is facing drug and firearms-related charges following a traffic stop, Tuesday afternoon.

Around 3:45, Police saw a vehicle with a wanted individual inside. A traffic stop was conducted at Rusholme Road and Avenue W. The wanted passenger was arrested without incident. Police allege that, underneath his seat, they found a hatchet and an imitation firearm. He was also allegedly found to be in possession of meth. When they searched the vehicle, police say they found a second imitation firearm and a knife.

A 35-year-old man is facing two firearms-related charges along with Possession of Methamphetamine.
