A 41 year-old man is facing a charge of Aggravated Assault in Regina after an incident early Monday evening.
Around 6;30, police were dispatched to assist a man seen stumbling down an alley in the 1900 block of Edgar Street. Police found the 36 year old who was bleeding from a large laceration. He was taken to hospital.
Police located a residence on the block that appeared to have been the scene of an altercation. A second man was found there, covered in blood, but who did not appear to be injured. Police allege also locating a metal file, believed to be the weapon used in the assault. The victim and the suspect are known to each other.
Forty-one year-old Nathan Timothy Oliver, of Fort Qu’Appelle, is charged with Aggravated Assault.
Tuesday night about 20-to-8, Regina Police responded to a call of a 12 year old shot with a BB gun in the 1400 block of Montague Street.
The suspect, a 13 year old boy who was known to the victim, fled prior to police arriving. The victim was taken to hospital and treated for injuries.
Officers executed a search warrant in the 1200 block of Rae Street in relation to the incident. The 13 year old was arrested and a BB gun was recovered.
The boy is charged with Discharging an Air Gun or Pistol with the Intent to Wound. He makes his first appearance in Youth Court on August 17.
Regina Police are investigating a robbery Tuesday night.
Shortly after eight, police received a report of a robbery at a business in the 2000 block of Albert Street. Staff reported a male entered the business with a firearm and demanded cash. The suspect fled the scene and was not located by police.
