A 34 year old woman has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and is sentenced to six years in jail. Sheritta Kahpeaysewat was originally charged with second degree murder in the death of her boyfriend, Colin Sutherland, in an apartment on 5th Avenue North on April 1st of 2018. Saskatoon Police responded to a call about an injured man around 11:30 in the evening that night and when officers arrived, Sutherland was dead. The 54 year old died of a single stab wound to his chest.
