There were 49 new COVID-19 cases reported in Saskatchewan, with the largest number (14) being in the Far North East region.

Regina had nine new cases and Saskatoon reported seven.  The number of active COVID cases rose by 16 and now stands at 421.

There are 60 people in hospital with COVID-19, including nine who are in intensive care.

Nearly 8,400 vaccines were administered on Friday, but only 732 were first shots.  The total number of doses has surpassed 1.2 million and the number of people fully vaccinated stands at 474,034.
