Two women are facing numerous charges after allegedly failing to stop for police in a stolen vehicle on Tuesday.

That day at approximately 1:30 p.m., a Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan police officer attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on Highway #55 near Foxford.  The officer reports the vehicle failed to stop and further investigation found the vehicle was stolen.  Nipawin RCMP officers later located abandoned in Nipawin where two women were located and arrested nearby.

31 year-old Chastitie Kakakaway  Prince Albert, SK is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of property obtained by crime more than $5,000, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

19 year-old Angelique Felix  of Sturgeon Lake First Nation is charged with possession of property obtained by crime more than $5,000.

They will appear in Nipawin Provincial Court on August 25th.
