A Meadow Lake man with outstanding arrest warrants has been arrested on further charges following a July 5 traffic stop.
At about 1:55 p.m. on Monday, 38-year-old Kodi Gobert of Meadow Lake was stopped and found to have arrest warrants from, both, the Meadow Lake and Green Lake R-C-M-P detachments. While arresting Gobert, Meadow Lake R-C-M-P officers discovered a bag of suspected methamphetamine in the door of his vehicle. A further search turned up about 125 grams of meth, 10 grams of cocaine and a sum of cash. Gobert will face three charges in court on August 30 for possession for the purpose of trafficking both methamphetamine and cocaine as well as possession of the proceeds of crime.
