The intersection at 3rd Avenue and 19th Street is scheduled to reopen on Friday at 7:00 a.m.  City staff have been upgrading outdated traffic signals, timed with other construction in the area.

This complex project required an overhaul of the existing overhead wires and infrastructure, with most of the work consisting of a new underground traffic signal system.  Some detours will remain until the adjacent construction project is complete this summer.
