An 18 year-old Saskatoon man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed overnight on Friday.
Just before midnight, Police received a report of a stabbing in the 3100 block of Laurier Drive. Upon arrival at the location officers found an injured man suffering from non life-threatening stab wounds. Further investigation led officers to a residence in the 3200 block of 33rd Street West where a 13 year-old boy was located and arrested.
The teenager is in custody charged with Aggravated Assault, Breach of Release Order, and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
In addition to this occurrence, charges of Assault with a Weapon and Breach of a Release Order have also been laid against the 13 year-old for a separate incident that occurred on June 21st, in the 2400 block of 22nd Street West where he allegedly attempted to stab a 13 year-old girl.
The youth is currently being held awaiting appearance before a Justice of the Peace later Saturday.
