Esterhazy RCMP say a 27 year old man who escaped police custody early Tuesday morning has been found. Police report that Jason Mitton was last seen around 2:30 in the morning in the town and was found around 1:40 in the afternoon in a rural area several kilometres east of the community. He appears in Broadview Provincial Court on Wednesday. His original charges included mischief under $5,000, assaulting a peace officer, and attempting to escape lawful custody.
