Battleford RCMP arrested three suspects Monday morning who appeared to have put diesel in a stolen truck with a gasoline engine. Police say it caused some obvious mechanical issues. That happened on Pioneer Road. The truck had been reported stolen only hours earlier.
Police also allegedly recovered a small amount of illegal drugs and some bear mace during the arrests. All three were held in custody and made their first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court on Tuesday.

Craig Fox, 24, and Terri Fox, 19, are both charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. Justin Poitras, 26, is charged with two counts of Possession of Stolen Property, as he was found to be involved in a second theft reported on this date. He is also charged with two counts of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Resisting arrest and Possession of Methamphetamine.
A vehicle reported stolen July 9 was recovered in Delmas that night. Police arrested two individuals, one a 17 year old youth, allegedly found inside the vehicle. Police also say two handguns were recovered.
Neishia Baptiste, 24, has been with Possession of Stolen Property, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm with a Tampered Serial Number, Unsafe Storage of a Firearm and two counts of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. A 17 year old youth has also been charged with the above noted offences.
