Never give up. Even on a years-old stolen auto investigation. Back in March 2019, Regina Police received a report from a local car rental company that a vehicle was rented out and not returned. This May, police found out the vehicle had been sold and re-registered in Alberta. Regina worked with members of the Edmonton Police Service to locate the vehicle and track the prior sales back to the individual who originally rented the vehicle in Regina in 2019.
On Tuesday, Regina Police found and arrested the suspect.
Thirty-eight year-old Charlene Gwen Pambrun has been charged with:
Theft Over $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained By Crime.
The investigation is ongoing.
