Thirty-six Saskatchewan Food Banks were part of a successful fundraising program last month.
Viterra promised to match any donation to a maximum of $100,000. The food banks ended up with $150,000 plus the $100,000 from Viterra worked out to a quarter million dollars.

She says they see a lot of families who may have relied on the school lunch programs so this money allows them to buy nutritious food for food bank hampers and run the many other programs they offer.
