There are 27 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Sunday. To date there have been 49, 683 confirmed cases in the province.
With 31 recoveries the active case count moved down slightly to 336, the seven day average of new cases is now at 34. There are currently 62 people in hospital with 11 in ICU, and the province reported no new deaths. Hospitalizations in the province have dropped 20.5 per cent in the last month.
Of the new cases Regina lead the way with nine, Saskatoon had three and the far North West had five. The far North West continues to lead the number of active cases with 94.
The province saw only 4,722 new doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in the latest report, meaning a total of 1,385, 788 doses total have been given out. Currently 629,785 Saskatchewan residents are fully vaccinated.
