Saskatoon Police say the Combined Traffic Unit spotted a vehicle speeding on Highway 11 Tuesday just after lunch at the southern edge of Saskatoon. Police allege that when they tried to pull the car over, it fled at speeds reaching 200 km/h. The vehicle was later located and seized. The officer’s investigation led to a 19 year old being charged with failing to stop for police, driving without reasonable consideration, driving while suspended and exceeding the speed limit by more than 50 km/h. The fleeing vehicle also reportedly narrowly missed a collision and police are asking anyone who may have encountered this vehicle to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300.
