There are 80 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan as of Saturday. The largest concentration is in the Far North West with 28. Saskatoon has 11. Forty-six people are in hospital; 11 in ICU. There have been no new deaths. There have been 53 new recoveries. The active case count has grown by 31 to 479.
Fewer and fewer people are taking the time to get vaccinated. 5,308 are registered as new doses on Saturday. That’s down about 73 per cent from the first of the month.
To date, about 1.4 million doses have been administered. About 650 thousand of those are people who are fully vaccinated.
