A man will appear in court Wednesday in North Battleford after the stolen vehicle he was driving was found to have weapons inside when he was stopped by the Battlefords R-C-M-P gang task force.

The unidentified 26-year-old male was taken into custody in the 1300 block of 97th street. A search of the vehicle found a machete, bear mace and ammunition. The suspect will face two charges of possession of a dangerous weapon, three counts of failing to comply with various court orders and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
