The number of new CVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the latest report from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease of 53 per cent from a month ago.

With only 3,861 new doses reported Thursday, that number is down from 8,348 on July 6th.  To date 1,422,820 doses have been given out, and 658,751 people are fully vaccinated.

On Thursday the active case count increased to 503 after 54 new cases and 48 recoveries were reported.  Of the new cases Saskatoon led the way with 17,  while the South East zone was second with 15.  The province also reported two deaths in people who tested positive for COVID-19.

Currently there are 53 people in hospital with 11 in intensive care.
