There are 85 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Friday.  Another 40 recoveries and an additional death from a person who tested positive for the virus means the active case count is now at 549.  There have now been 582 deaths in Saskatchewan and 50,338 confirmed cases.

Once again Saskatoon had the most cases with 19, the South East zone had 12, while the South West had 10.

The seven day average of new cases is up to 54, while there are 57 people in hospital, 12 who are in intensive care.

The province reported an additional 3707 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered.  To date 1,426,527 doses have been given out, while 661,545 people are fully vaccinated.
