A 14 year-old girl has been charged by Regina Police after an investigation into an assault early Thursday morning, involving bear spray as a weapon. This investigation is ongoing.
Around 3:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Robinson Street for a report of someone having broken windows in a house before discharging bear spray inside. The window of a vehicle belonging to one of the victims had also been smashed. No one needed EMS treatment. The officers identified a potential suspect, who was found a short time later. The suspect and the victims are known to each other.
The suspect cannot be named because of the Youth Criminal Justice act. She is charged with: two counts of Mischief and Assault with a Weapon.
