The province says that work will soon be completed on a paving and road repair project that includes a portion of Highway 38 and roads inside Greenwater Lake Provincial Park. Paving is expected to finish by mid-August on the 23 km portion of Highway 38, north of the junction with Highway 49. Another 10 km of road is being repaved inside the park, along with some repairs. The total cost is $10.9 million.
Another 3.6 km of paving on Highway 38 from Chelan to the south has been added as a supplemental item on this tender. It will be completed in the 2022 construction season at a cost of $1.8 million, bringing the total investment to $12.7 million.
