Ile a la Crosse RCMP say two men have been charged after allegedly threatening a man with a gun.
On August 5, around 1:15 p.m., RCMP received a complaint that a man had gone to a residence in the community and was threatened by an armed male. The victim was eventually allowed to leave.
A woman was arrested outside the residence and officers say they found and seized a modified firearm, ammunition, a machete, 10 smartphones, 3 tablets and a small amount of crystal methamphetamine.
Later that evening, RCMP arrested three males who were inside the residence. Two were later released without charges. However, 29 year old Niles McCallum of Ile a la Crosse, faces numerous firearms charges as well as others including Assault with a Weapon and Uttering Threats.
36 year old Kristina Ducharme of Ile a la Crosse faces several firearms charges.
Both will next appear in court on August 25.
