Around 11 o’clock Wednesday night, Prince Albert RCMP officers encountered an accident involving an SUV and a pedestrian which had just occurred south of Spruce Home on Highway 2. Police say medical assistance was provided, but the pedestrian, a woman, succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene.
