On Saturday, the province reported another 2,562 COVID-19 vaccines in people’s arms for a total to date of 1,444,378. There are another 122 cases of the virus and the seven day average of new cases is down one, at 97. A week ago, it was 63.
There are 958 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, but there were no deaths related to COVID-19 reported on Saturday. Seventy-seven people are in the hospital and ten of those are in the ICU. The province says 74 per cent of the people in the hospital are not fully vaccinated.

- The new cases are located in the Far North West (4), Far North Central (3), Far North East (20), North West (4), North Central (22), North East (4), Saskatoon (37), Central West (2), Central East (2), Regina (2), South West (1), South Central (8) and South East (10) zones, and three (3) new cases are pending residence information
- Two (2) cases with pending residence information were assigned to the North Central (from August 12(2)) zone
- Six (6) SK residents tested out-of-province were added to the Far North West (from August 5(1)), North Central (from August 5(1)), Saskatoon (from February 25(1)) and from May 28(1)), Regina (from August 7(1)) and South East (from August 5(1)) zones

- 12,290 cases are from the Regina area
- 12,039 cases are from the Saskatoon area
- 11,199 cases are from the North area (4,838 North West, 4,712 North Central, 1,649 North East)
- 6,096 cases are from the South area (1,197 South West, 1,978 South Central, 2,921 South East)
- 6,047 cases are from the Far North area (3,022 Far North West, 443 Far North Central, 2,582 Far North East)
- 3,333 cases are from the Central area (861 Central West, 2,472 Central East)
- 158 cases have pending residence information
- 958 cases are considered active and 49,618 cases are considered recovered
- Just over one-third (36.9%) of new cases are in the 20 to 39 years age category
- As of August 14th, a total of 77 individuals are hospitalized, including 67 inpatient hospitalizations and 10 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 77 patients, 57 (74%) are not fully vaccinated.
- No (0) new death reported today. 586 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 1.1%
- 984,425 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of August 12, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 829,469 tests performed per million. The national rate was 1,033,313 tests performed per million.
- The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 97 (8.1 per 100,000)
