The University of Regina is now mandating COVID-19 vaccinations for the student body and for staff on the campus ahead of the 2021 Fall semester.
Those attending the U of R will need to show proof that they are fully vaccinated by October 1st. This follows the University of Saskatchewan and several post-secondary schools in Ontario that have made similar announcements.
The U of R says they are continuing to make vaccine appointments available by hosting on-campus clinics for staff, students, faculty and family members.
The U of R will also be extending health and safety protocols, including masking, self-wellness checks and physical distancing, in all public spaces on campus.
