Lloydminster RCMP are investigating a homicide.
Around 3:00 am on August 14th, RCMP responded to an assault at a park near 44 Street and 42 Avenue. The Fire Department and Alberta Health Service ground ambulance attended as well. The victim was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Aug, 15, Trevor Owen Tootoosis, of Paynton, Saskatchewan, died of his injuries.
Alberta RCMP’s Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.
