Monday morning around 8:30, Prince Albert Police arrested a man wanted by RCMP in connection with a report of a robbery with a firearm earlier this month at Little Red First Nation.
The 25-year-old man has been remanded into custody and will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Wednesday.
He was arrested following a complaint involving a man trying to break into a vehicle parked in the 100 Block of 26th Street West. Then there was a second report of damage to a vehicle in the 2700 Block of 2nd Avenue West soon after. Police found their suspect nearby.
He was arrested following a short foot pursuit and is facing additional charges of willful damage and theft under $5,000.
