Saskatoon Police have arrested three people in connection to an incident where officers allege a driver evaded police and a gun was thrown from a vehicle. Around 9 Thursday morning, police attempted to stop what was believed to be a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of a grocery store in the 300 block of Herold Road. The driver didn’t stop, and it is reported that officers witnessed a firearm being thrown from the vehicle as it traveled on Heritage Crescent.

A tire deflation device was successfully used, and the vehicle came to a stop on Stillwater Drive. Police say three people took off on foot, scaling fences and running through yards. One man was found nearby, while the other man and woman were taken into custody on Circle Drive East near Boychuk Drive with assistance from a Corman Park Police Officer.

Charges are pending against a 24 year old Prince Albert man, a 29 year old Montreal Lake man and a 29 year old Saskatoon woman.
