The Saskatoon Police Service finds themselves busy with two separate suspicious death incidents from overnight Saturday into Sunday.
The first occurred just after 2 a.m. Sunday when a Saskatoon Fire Department crew was battling a fire in the 600 block of Spadina Crescent West. A passerby told firefighters at the scene about a person laying on a ramp at a nearby skate park. S-F-D personnel found an unresponsive adult male, but could not resuscitate him. Police believe foul play is involved.
The second incident came at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday when Saskatoon Police were called to a residence in the 1200 block of College Drive after a female body was found. The Major Crime Section and the Forensic Identification Section both have detectives working both investigations. No arrests have been made with Police asking that anyone who has information on either of these cases to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or Saskatoon Crime Stoppers.
