Pelican Narrows R-C-M-P and Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency fire investigators are looking into a house destroyed by fire in the early hours of Sunday in Pelican Narrows.

Officers believe the fire to be suspicious in nature. At about 2 a.m. on August 22, Pelican Narrows R-C-M-P responded to a fully engulfed house fire in the community along Highway 135. There were no injuries as all occupants of the house were able to escape safely. The house was destroyed by the blase.
