As summer turns to fall, the City of Saskatoon is working on its strategy for the return to the workplace for its employees who have been working from home. Mayor Charlie Clark says they are looking at what other entities like the University of Saskatchewan and larger businesses are doing, and looking to government as well. The City will look at masking for staff and the potential for re-introducing masks on Saskatoon Transit buses.
Clark says the rise in daily cases of COVID-19 after a summer of no restrictions is discouraging, and notes the concern for unvaccinated children returning to school. He suggests the biggest thing we can all do is urge people to get vaccinated.
