The public has a couple of new reports to peruse from the Saskatoon Public Library with regards to the design of the new, main downtown building.
One of the documents is called the design check-in report which shows how community input has been incorporated into how the schematic design is progressing, including updated floor plans. As well, the What We Heard Report summarises what the library heard during public consultations on the schematic design back in June. Both documents can be viewed on the Saskatoon Central Library website. One more phase of community consultation is planned for January before the final, new library design for the building on the large piece of land on the west side of Second Avenue North, between 24th Street and 25th Street is released in the spring of 2022.
