One of the two early Sunday morning suspicious deaths in Saskatoon has been confirmed as the city’s sixth homicide of 2021 by Police. Following an autopsy, it was determined that 39-year-old Kelly Dean Quewasance was the victim of homicide. No cause of death is being released. Quewasance was found unresponsive at 2 a.m. on August 22 in the 600 block of Spadina Crescent West. The investigation is continuing, as is a second suspicious death investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service from the early-morning hours of August 22 with the support from the Office of the Chief Coroner. Around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, a woman was found dead at a residence in the 1200 block of College Drive. Anyone with information that could help out with either investigation is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
