A Winnipeg man facing charges including Manslaughter, in the death of a Mountie was back in Regina Provincial Court yesterday. On June 12th, Indian Head R-C-M-P Constable Shelby Patton pulled over a truck in Wolseley, but during the stop and while out of his vehicle, Patton was allegedly hit by the truck. The vehicle, which was reported stolen from Manitoba, was later found in a field near Francis and two suspects were taken into custody. 41-year-old Alphonse Traverse remains in custody, and will be back in court on September 20. The other person charged, 42-year-old Marlene Pagee, of Winnipeg, remains in custody, and makes her next appearance in Regina on September 2.
