The storms which hit parts of Saskatchewan Monday night carried over into Tuesday when a tornado touched down near Ituna. Environment Canada confirms an EF0 tornado at 3 p.m. and while Environment and Climate Change Canada received reports and photos of the tornado, no damage reports have rolled in as yet.
There were also tornadoes near Hodgeville and Kindersley on Monday evening. A tornado touched down 24 kilometres southwest of Hodgeville at 5:50 p.m. damaging buildings at a farm yard and a tornado touched down east of Kindersley on Monday at 7:04 p.m. with a rating of EF0 and wind speeds tracked between 90 and 130 kilomtres per hour. The ratings for the tornadoes are considered preliminary.
In addition on Monday hail that was pea sized to quarter sized was reported at Shackleton, Wilcox, Blumenhof, south of Mortlach, west of Kerrobert, at Pense and west of Kindersley. There was ping pong sized hail in Major and golf ball sized in Moose Jaw.
