The City of Prince Albert says hydraulic flushing will start in Zone 2 Monday. The work is scheduled from 7am to 7pm, Monday through Friday over the next 4-6 weeks, weather permitting.
Hydraulic flushing in Zone 1 was completed last year and will be scheduled again in 2022.
Many residences will not experience any disruption to their water service. In some cases, there may be loss of water pressure and discoloured water.
Hydraulic flushing is a process that uses water to scour waterlines to remove sediment and build-up that accumulates in the pipes over time.
