The C-F-L announced Thursday afternoon that the Edmonton at Toronto game, which was postponed from a week ago because of COVID-19 concerns with the Elks, has been successfully rescheduled to Tuesday, November 16.
The league says another organization, which previously had a hold on B-MO Field for that date, agreed to relinquish it if accommodated elsewhere. That contributed to a “domino effect” which has caused some other changes to the C-F-L schedule…most notably a reversal of the home-and-home schedule between Edmonton and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Instead of the Green and White hosting the Elks on November 5, the teams will meet in Edmonton. And, the November 13 game in the Alberta capital has been switched to Mosaic Stadium. Since the realigned schedule results in the Elks playing three games in seven days, the C-F-L and their Players Association agreed that both Edmonton and the Argos can add an additional five players to their active rosters for those games.
