A woman was arrested on Thursday in Jans Bay in northwest Saskatchewan in connection to a homicide investigation in Saskatoon. She is charged with 2nd degree murder and appears in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Friday.

On July 15th, Saskatoon Police responded to the suspicious death of a 49 year old man at a home on the 1800 block of Avenue B North. Police reported that it seemed the person or persons responsible were known to the victim, and the death was deemed the city’s fifth homicide of the year.
