Wadena/Foam Lake RCMP continue to investigate the fatal accident which happened around 11 in the morning on Friday on Highway 16 east of Insinger. An SUV and a semi collided.

A 58 year old man from Regina who was a passenger in the SUV was declared dead on scene. The 32 year old woman who was driving was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The man driving the semi was not physically injured.

After the accident, the highway was closed in both directions for several hours, for the police investigation.
