RCMP have laid charges against a woman in connection to a fatal accident near the Big River First Nation. Officers responded just after 1:30 Saturday morning and RCMP say a truck and a side-by-side collided on a road near the high school.
Two men from the Big River First Nation, the driver and passenger of the side-by-side were declared dead at the scene. The driver was 50 and the passenger was 42. The driver and passenger in the truck were transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
A 40 year old woman who was driving the truck, Sheila Rabbitskin is charged with two counts of impaired driving causing death and one count of driving while prohibited.
