Music, prizes, pizza and skateboard demonstrations – that’s what’s happening Saturday afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m. at Lions Skate Park in Victoria Park. The City is hosting Fall Freestyle, an annual skateboard event, which is free to attend.

Skateboarders are reminded to wear a helmet, bring your own skateboard and safety gear, and everyone is encouraged to wear a mask. If you have no gear, there will be some available to borrow and leaders to help you learn the sport. Along with learning the basics, there will be demonstrations from the experienced skateboarders.

COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place to ensure the safety of staff and participants. The Skate Park is next to Riversdale Pool.
