A 25-year-old man from Shaunovan was arrested by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit Wednesday and charged with Possession of Child Pornography.

The arrest follows an ICE Unit investigation and execution of a Tuesday search warrant of a Shaunovan residence. The man was found to be accessing child pornography online through a popular social media application with the ICE Unit seizing several electronic devices, with evidence located on them, for forensic analysis. The name of the suspect man is not being released for the time being, but he will appear in Provincial Court on November 4 following release by a Justice of the Peace in Shaunovan.
