R-C-M-P have a person in custody, but are continuing to investigate what is considered to be a suspicious death in the early morning hours of Friday at a home in Choiceland.

Nipawin R-C-M-P were called out to a residence on Railway Avenue East in Choiceland at about 1:45 a.m. on September 24. Officers and E-M-S found a 37-year-old woman in the home and declared her dead at the scene.

One individual was arrested at the scene, but there is no concern for public safety. Saskatchewan R-C-M-P Major Crimes Unit South is leading the investigation, which is in its early stages with no further details as to what happened available at this time.
