Cody Fajardo (pictured) has climbed to the top of the C-F-L’s weekly top performers list.

After being the third top performer in Week 2 and the second top performer in Week 3, the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ quarterback was named the Week 8 top performer this morning by the C-F-L panel of judges. Fajardo completed 24-of-31 passes for 279 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the Green and White’s 31-24 road win over the B-C Lions back on Friday. Fajardo capped a six-play, 56-yard drive with a one-hard T-D run that tied the score with two seconds before kicker Brett Lauther booted the winning convert. Toronto defensive back Shaquille Richardson and Montreal running back William Stanback were the second and third top performers of the week, respectively.
