Environment Canada says a warm airmass made for some new daily record highs being set across Saskatchewan on Monday. There were 11 locations that set or tied a daily maximum temperature record for September 27th.
Saskatoon reached 28.8 degrees on Monday but that was not a new record. In Prince Albert the mercury topped out at 25.7 degrees but that also did not set a new record. An even warmer day is forecast for both locations today (tues).
Meanwhile, normal for this time of year is a daytime high of 15 degrees.
