Phase Two of Saskatchewan’s COVID-19 booster program goes into effect on Monday.
Residents aged 80 and over, and six months after receiving their second vaccine dose, are eligible to get a third shot, along with other immunocompromised and clinically extremely vulnerable individuals including those with auto-immune diseases and those who received chemotherapy or radiation therapy in the past six months.
Online booking for booster doses is not yet available so those eligible to receive one are encouraged to visit a pharmacy or pop-up clinic. In addition, if you have already received a third dose for travel or in a long-term care or personal-care home setting, you do not require a fourth shot.
